Embark on a transformative journey to Guatemala with Heart of Travel and the People & Pets Project. This extraordinary service trip seeks compassionate souls in the medical and veterinary fields, as well as those who simply wish to make a meaningful difference, to join us this summer in Guatemala. Together, we will host two distinct One Health Clinics in the beautiful, yet underserved, communities, of Alotenango and San Vicente de Pacaya. The People & Pets Project will provide essential human health care services and classes to hundreds of children and adults and veterinary care, including spay and neuter clinics for 100+ animals. The more qualified hands on the ground, the greater impact we can have! What sets this venture apart is our unwavering commitment to working hand-in-hand with the local community, ensuring that we offer services that are not only needed but also wanted. This is why Heart of Travel’s very own local guides and providers are leaders in organizing these clinics and involving their communities to ensure we always respect their terms and wishes, understanding that true impact begins with listening.
