The trip was a wonderful dive into the Andean culture. I loved the variety in lodging experiences and I especially enjoyed the home-stay and the eco-domes. The food prepared by Elizabeth at the eco-camp was the best of the trip! The cross country train ride was a fantastic addition and was certainly a highlight!

The hands on and interactive experiences with the local people created a real awareness of the different ways of life from the city to the mountain tops. Our HOT tour leader, Eimy was attentive and patient, always ensuring that group members had their needs and wants met.

This was another wonderful trip with heart of travel. Our guides were outstanding. Charlie was our main director and kept us safe and excellent translator. Clyde one of our guides in Livingston gave us history of the area and so much information as well as being a lot of fun. So proud of his culture, family and history!!

In Tikal, Oliver was phenomenal! He’s a historian, teacher, multilingual, etc. I could have spent a couple days learning from him!! Needless to say, I loved Guatemala. Will go again

This was an amazing trip! The itinerary was a perfect mix of city adventures and off the beaten path experiences. We were up in the Andes at 15,000 feet elevation and then in the rainforest at Iguazu falls -- and everything in between. Our guide, Dylan, was terrific. He has such an easy-going and fun personality, as well as being very knowledgeable and capable. All of our local guides were top notch, as well.

We had some very heartwarming and profound experiences with family and friends of our local guides. These were definitely outside of the typical tourist activities, and I felt very privileged to be welcomed so warmly. I can't say enough good things about this trip. I would definitely travel again with Heart of Travel!
